TAMCO was recognized as "Climate Action Leader" for 2006 by California Climate Action Registry.
In response to promulgation of California State Assembly Bill AB32, TAMCO has joined the California Climate Action Registry to voluntarily report its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. TAMCO has been taking steps to reduce its GHG emmsions through efficient use of energy in its operation.

TAMCO protects air quality by complying with Federal, State and Local regulations and using state-of-the-art monitoring and pollution control devices. These devices include:

• A nine (9) Compartment Positive Pressure Baghouse

Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)

Air quality is also managed by daily Visible Emission Evaluations (VEE). The TAMCO Environmental staff is certified by the State of California to perform these daily VEE's.
