| Environmental Stewardship TAMCO incorporates protection of the environment in all phases of its steel-making operation. TAMCO is the only steel mini-mill in the state, and California is the most environmentally ambitious state in the country. TAMCO complies with various laws, acts and regulations from over 15 federal, state, regional and local environmental agencies. In addition, TAMCO has gone beyond compliance with environmental endeavors such as: Project Isaiah, Used Oil Filter Recycling, Steel Belted Tire Cord Recycling and Zero Discharge of Wastewater. These and other environmental programs have gained federal and local recognition for TAMCO. |
